Red Hot Chili Sweater
€9.00
The Red Hot Chili Sweater is a cozy oversized pullover featuring a small chili motif on the front for a playful touch of color.
The pattern includes six sizes: S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL).
The sweater is worked top-down using a European shoulder construction. The shoulders are shaped with increases worked on both right-side and wrong-side rows. Once the shoulder width is complete, stitches are picked up to form the front and back panels.
The front sections are worked flat to shape the neckline, while the back is worked straight. When the armhole depth is reached, the pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. Before finishing the body, a decrease round creates a gentle balloon shape, after which the modified edging is worked.
The sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round, with decreases for shaping, and finished with the same modified cuff edging. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and the neckband is worked to complete the sweater.
The length of the sleeves and body can be easily adjusted, as the garment is worked top-down.
