Sorbet Scarf
Free
The sorbet scarf is worked flat from start to finish in simple garter stitch, making it an ideal project for beginners. Along the way, you’ll practice a few essential knitting techniques, including the long tail cast on, knitting every row, working a twisted chain selvedge for neat edges, and changing colours without cutting the yarn. The design features bold stripes in warm orange and yellow tones. The sample shown is knit using soft, velvety Scheepjes yarn, giving the scarf a cosy, squishy feel. I’ve included a video tutorial below, where you can follow along step by step and knit the scarf together with me.
